Antique child's chair

$50.00

We found this chair behind some boxes on a porch – weathered, forgotten, and falling apart. The seat was missing. It was a sad sight just begging for restoration.

We took it to our shop where we completely disassembled and sanded it to bare wood. Then we glued together the pieces with high-quality wood glue that resists moisture. After that, it was time to paint. We used two coats of Beyond Paint All-in-One sage green paint in the frame.

While the paint dried, we crafted the American Black Walnut seat. We sealed it with a durable polyurethane sealant to protect the wood. We then carefully attached the seat to the frame to produce the results you see. Results that will stand the test of time.

We love the combination of the sage green frame and black walnut seat, don’t you?

This chair is a perfect accent piece for your home. Showcase it in your foyer. Use it in the living room to hold your favorite throw blanket. Or use it in a child’s room as a reading chair. The uses are endless!

Size is 28 inches by 14 inches

The work on this antique child’s chair – from start to finish – was completed in our US veteran-owned and operated workshop in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio.
